1.0 - ENTRY
1.1 Entry to the competition – World View with Sony Ericsson - signifies acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
1.2 Employees of Wallpaper* or Promoter and members of their immediate families or associated companies may not be entered in to the global competition – ‘World View with Sony Ericsson’. Any such entries will be invalid.
1.3 Each entry to the global competition must be a photograph taken using a mobile phone camera and must be the original work of the entrant and not previously published, with the exception of any print as a direct result of public relations at a national level by the Promoter.
1.4 All entrants to the global competition must obtain the prior consent of all persons whose images appear in any photos submitted. Obscene or defamatory photos, or photos which might invade the privacy of any person(s) will not be accepted.
1.5 Each photo entry must have been taken in 2007.
1.6 The winner must be over 18 years of age.
1.7 All entries to be considered for the global competition must be received no later than 23:59:59 Friday 30 November 2007 (GMT).
1.8 A global judging panel will select in their sole discretion an overall winner no later than Friday 14 December 2007.
1.9 The selected winner will be notified via the phone number they provided when entering the global competition. If the winner of the prize cannot be notified / located, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant as chosen by the global judging panel.
1.10 The global judging panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants will not received photos back and Sony Ericsson reserves the right to use all photos entered in the competition in any manner, and at its discretion.
1.11 The winner must make himself or herself available for global publicity in relation to the competition.
2.0 - The Prize
2.1 The prize for winning ‘World View with Sony Ericsson’ is a £10,000 all expenses paid trip for two people. The Promoter’s will choose the destinations dependent on the country of origin of the overall winner.
2.2 The prize includes flights, accommodation, insurance and transfers, (as arranged by the Promoter) but does not include travel pre or post trip.
2.3 A cash alternative to the prize is not available, and the prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, the Promoter reserves the right to change the prize due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer an alternative of similar value.
2.4 The prize trip needs to be taken before 31 December 2008.
3.0 – Data Protection
3.1 The Promoter (or any third party nominated by the Promoter) may use the winner’s name and image and any comments relating to the competition for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any and all global media without any fee being paid or notice being given.
3.2 Any personal data will only be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
4.0 – General Terms
4.1 The Promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes - as above) if, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
4.2 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.
4.3 All global media partners along with the Promoter reserve the right to publish any or all international entries other than the overall winning image.
4.4 Any breach of these competition rules by an entrant will void their entry. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry.
