Origin Live Sovereign

For those with sensitive ears, Origin Live’s new Sovereign turntable is something of a frequency smorgasbord. Using an Encounter arm and Goldring 1042 cartridge, experts swear they can hear subtleties in sounds that they’d never noticed even in their favourite discs. The turntable is beautifully machined but the adjustment bolts are hidden from view and, coupled with a complex assembly, this can make for difficult work on Christmas morning.
