Embraer is celebrating its 40th birthday this year. The Brazilian aerospace conglomerate was created in 1969, born of Brazil’s budding military industrial complex and now one of the world’s most important aircraft manufacturers.

True to its roots, the company remains a major military player, with over 20 air forces around the world operating its products, and its commercial jet program has delivered more than 1000 planes to 37 airlines since 1996. But the world knows this brand for its handsome, high-performance executive jets.
The new US$7.6 million Phenom 300 is scheduled for an on-time arrival, just before the holidays, but a complete interior redesign by BMW’s DesignworksUSA has already been warmly received, winning major international design awards for its sophisticated luxury and practicality. The cabin of the next-generation Phenom 300 is pressurized to an altitude of only 6,000 feet when cruising at 45,000 feet, ensuring optimal passenger comfort.
