This month’s limited edition cover is by Canadian artist and typographer Marian Bantjes, whose unique style is distinguished by painstaking line work and ornamental flourishes, often reminiscent of illustrated manuscripts from another era.
Having featured in our Global Edit expo at last year’s Milan Salone, Bantjes most recently collaborated with Wallpaper’s Creative Director Tony Chambers on a Pecha Kucha night at London’s ICA. Bantjes has also worked with Stefan Sagmeister and The New York Times and lives on an island near Vancouver.
