When it comes to Leonard's signature prints, you will either love them or hate them. Wallpaper* are definitely in the former category and fans of Véronique Leroy, who has brought a youthful clientele to the brand. She works with a selection of new prints each season (all hand painted in the Paris studios). For fall it was orchids, animalier and more graphic designs. She mixes them up by combining dark and light, matt and shiny, and print and solid. She then adds depth with leather, suede and quilting (another brand signature) for cuffs, bibs, yokes and pockets, this time with a definite rounded edge. She sees this as the way to introduce change and calls it a kind of jigsaw puzzle, fitting together the various elements.
