In a concise presentation, Brioni continued to develop themes from the past few seasons. Colour was rich and dark with grey, midnight blue, peacock blue, dark brown and violet; fabrics were refined like double-faced cashmere, satin and Breitschwanz; and shape was sculpted and architectural. The silhouette, a play on volume on top with slim skirts and pant, was achieved through cloth gathered, folded or pleated often asymmetrically into the hips, waist or wrist.
