In Raf Simons’ third season at the creative helm of Jil Sander, his menswear pared pinstripes down to one precise stripe, placed right of centre on jackets and coats. For womenswear, he focused on two essential elements, the dart and the pleat. Free from superfluous detail, the architectural shapes and the modernity of the fabrics made for an outstanding collection.
