Marc Jacobs
Remember when air stewardesses were icons of glamour? Marc Jacobs does, as his Marc collection was an homage to those high flying beauties in the 1970s.
Little peaked caps topped of shirtwaisters and trouser suits in navy cherry and custard with epaulettes and gold buttons, and contrast trims. The neat uniform look carried through to pleat skirts and cocktail dresses made with bands of ribbon, finished with square heeled patent slingbacks and square shoulder-bags.
