London Design Festival 2014 preview

While the V&A remains the London Design Festival hub, events, shows and installations will pepper the city, with new districts like Islington and Queens Park getting in on the action this year, alongside veterans like Clerkenwell and Brompton. With so much to see, navigating it all can be tough. Here, we bring you our edit of the top 20 exhibitions.

The iconic department store is muscling in on the London Design Festival action for the first time this year with ‘Harrods is Design’, an in-store design trail over two floors, which includes launches from brands and designers such as Zaha Hadid (previewed in our October issue), Stephen Burks for Roche Bobois, Yoo and Bethan Gray. These offerings are part of newly appointed Director of Home, Annalise Fard’s efforts to reinvigorate the store’s design department.
