New from French clothing brand Carven is ‘L’Eau Intense,’ a fragrance for men. The scent was conceived by Jérôme Di Marino under the supervision of contemporary perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

The fragrance is, says the brand, an attempt to create an ‘olfactory experience’ – in other words, it combines woody and spicy notes with an initial burst of fresh lemon and mint, giving it an unusually cool first impression.

Dressed in a white bottle designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff, the fragrance comes packaged within a matte grey case, threaded with shiny metallic silver.

‘Freshly intense and intensely fresh,’ the scent embodies true French elegance.
