The overall remit is to provide daily ad-hoc support to the Editor-in-Chief.

The fast-paced role spans a variety of areas which include day-to-day diary and travel management, assisting on editorial and commercial projects and events and managing the Editor's liaisons both with the team and with the industry.

The candidate must be prepared for flexible working hours, often covering different international timezones – from Singapore to Sao Paulo, to potentially the Moon - and be available to perform tasks outside the standard office hours.

The ideal candidate should have perfect organisational and administrative skills as well as an interest in art, architecture, design and fashion. We are looking for a proactive, creative and intuitive problem solver, someone who is extremely detail-oriented, able to multi-task and perform well under pressure, follow several complex projects simultaneously and understand what to prioritize both in their own work and in the Editor's schedule / tasks. Being a mind reader will also help. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential, and fluent knowledge of a foreign language (Italian or French) is ideal.

Additionally, the role includes assisting the team in the smooth running of the office and being the main point of contact at Wallpaper* for the magazine's relations with IPC, clients and readers.
