New startup Guidekick has teamed up with San Francisco’s de Young Museum to turn Apple Watches into tour guides, according to CNN Money.

Before touring the museum’s new Oscar De La Renta Retrospective (or 33 other works in the collection), visitors can download the museum’s app onto their device. Then, when they pass various displays within the museum, the watch will vibrate, alerting them that an audio component is available. Visitors simply need to stop, put on their headphones, and listen to their own private tour guide provide context for the artwork.

The de Young's acting director and COO, Richard Benefield, told CNN Money that the idea is ‘for the watch to act as an invisible tour guide, delivering information in real time so visitors don't have to to look away from the art itself.’

The app is also filled with helpful information about the museum, including a 3D interactive map that pinpoints your location and can help you find the closest museum shop, restroom, museum café, and more.
