No one could accuse Ligne Roset of taking a gentle approach to 2009. The prolific French manufacturer is always a highlight at the start of the year where it unveils its annual crop of new designs and this year was certainly no different.

Standout pieces include Philippe Negro’s ‘Confluences’ sofa system, which we saw at VIA’s show in Salone and are thrilled to see in production, Francois Azambourg’s Noviaz desk and Francois Bauchet’s Roman storage system. But to be honest, there was next to nothing on show here we wouldn’t have felt proud to call our own.
