Business amenities:
There is a digital concierge that is said to be better than the real thing. Desks and international power outlets are available in all rooms, wireless access is complimentary and meeting spaces are available during business hours.
Rooms:
All of the 56 rooms and suites are thoughtfully designed, with low-slung beds inspired by traditional Japanese ryokan inns. Each room features an iPad, complete with custom video art pieces, and bathroom products by Sharp's. North- facing rooms have views of the Highline and Empire State Building.
Leisure:
The rooftop lap pool may not be Olympic-sized, but it's heated and open all year round. There is a poolside lounge area with table service and inspired city and river vistas. There are no spa or gym facilities in-house, but guests enjoy access to the nearby Chelsea Piers sports fitness complex.
Restaurants:
L'Americano is a large, open-plan space with a lovely outdoor courtyard area, serving a fusion of French and Latin cuisines. Downstairs, Bar Americano is perfect for mixing business with pleasure. Accessed by a dedicated exterior lift, the rooftop grill serves Greek- inspired dishes and Argentine asado.

Located in the heart of Chelsea, the new Hôtel Americano is the first foray into the US by Mexico City-based boutique hotelier Carlos Couturier and his Grupo Habita, which has ten properties in total, all popular for their fun, cool atmosphere.
