Known for its established pop-up patronage, the St Martins Lane hotel has played host to a heady mix of high-design residents over the past few months - with the Armani Cafe, the IDEA bookshop and a Convenience Store pop-up boutique all upping sticks into the front room of the hotel. Rei Kawakubo’s Dover Street Market is to become the front room’s latest resident this winter, with Dover Street Market Xtra Small. Featuring a condensed, edited and refined selection of products from Comme Des Garcons Shirt, Dover Street Market Label, Comme des Garcons Perfume and PLAY collections – DSM XS marks a welcome return to true ‘pop-up’ form from Kawakubo and her groundbreaking brand.
