Each year the London Design Festival seems to grow in scope and ambition. This year, it has even wangled the usually off-limits South West tower of St Paul’s Cathedral as a venue (for John Pawson’s Perspectives installation), and shows and installations are now popping up literally all over town. As the action kicks off, we’ll be bringing you the highlights as they happen.
While areas of the capital like Clerkenwell may be home to the global furniture mega brands, a leafy street in South-West London has long been drawing the design cognoscenti with its troop of independent shops and galleries.
