Dubiously claiming the title of London's first pop-up 'snug', the much-feted Mayfair member's club, Home House, has this month launched a one-off winter retreat, set within the verdant surrounds of its private courtyard gardens. Essentially an on-trend way of snaking around the smoking ban, the sung takes the club proper’s dense woody interior stylings as its cue, and has been designed - in the clubs own words - as 'a mingle-inducing retreat'. Designed in-house with a 19th century smoking lounge in mind, the intimate space comes complete with cracked leather Georgian armchairs, a range of handmaid sofas and a tempting sense of seclusion to boot.
