Le Meurice has long hosted the great and the good. While its rooms are decorated in Louis XVI style, Philippe Starck¹s makeover of the public areas was inspired by former guest Salvador Dalí. Le Bar 228 (left) has a Dalí-inspired display cabinet, while Le Dalí restaurant has a ceiling-hung canvas by Starck¹s daughter, Ara, and chairs with shoes for feet.
