The family-run driade group has been busy of late with several new launches taking place over Salone across their three brands, (driade, driadestore and driadekosmo) by an international group of collaborators. Philippe Starck, Antonio Astori, Rodolfo Dordoni, Borek Sipek, Mann Singh and Linde Burkhardt will all be launching new products but the standout pieces look to be the MERMAID armchair by Tokujin Yoshioka, Wallpaper’s Designer of the Year 2008 and Fabio Novembre’s extraordinary DIVINA sofa, with a black reclining figure as a backrest.
