Obviously you need a bit of a breather every now and then and luckily The Design Library Café, recently opened on via Savona, is just a short hop, skip and jump away from a lot of the action. The space is relaxed, clean and sure to provide sensory relief as well as a refuel. The café is designed by James Irvine (who designed the Library also, in 2006) and Maddalena Casadei, and furnished with Claesson Koivisto Rune sofas, Cappelini coffee tables and Fukasawa tables and chairs. And if you’re growling with hunger the kitchen stays open till 1am, so whether it’s a small snack at midday or midnight it’s definitely worth a visit.
