The Italian brand is this year launching two new products - a pair of Moby TV trolleys by Marco Zanuso Jr and the Rokumaru coat rack by Nendo. Both are simple, visually, but intriguing. The aluminium, black or white high-gloss laminate Moby seems wasted bearing the weight of a television (however ubiquitous a household object it may be) we rather like the idea of it as an occasional low table instead. The Rokumaru (a combination of the Japanese words, 'six' and 'circle') is a very technically precise creation as Nendo explains, 'The whole is a combination of various elements set at an angle of 60 degrees, repeated again for the elements of the bottom parts that make up the base; this gives the product a strong sense of design unity.'
