Kenny Schachter's Rove
Another pioneer of the future, rather than collector of the past, colourful character in the gallery world Kenny Schachter re-located from New York to London in 2004, from where he has continued to build a formidable name for himself in contemporary design.
Schachter showcases work he believes pushes the boundaries of traditional visual arts and consequently bridges the historically separate disciplines of art, architecture and design. It's no surprise then to learn that he works closely with Zaha Hadid, Ross Lovegrove, Ron Arad , Arik Levy and Hani Rashid - each expert multidisciplinarians and notable boundary pushers of both material and form.
ROVE Projects, the name of Schachter's gallery, recently unveiled 'Belu' a limited edition, multi-functional object designed by Zaha Hadid, which will be on show at this year's Design Miami.
