DeLorenzo 1950, New York
Tony DeLorenzo opened his first gallery in the Soho district of New York back in 1985 with an inaugural exhibition of Jean Prouve and Serge Mouille. He has since carved out a niche, specialising in French decorative arts between the Fifties and Seventies.
Showcasing the best of the best pioneering design pieces that are the product of their precise moment - is what
DeLorenzo strives to do with his collection of Art Deco furniture. And such is his appetite that in 1993 he relocated to a larger exhibition space on Lafayette Street where his collection continues to grow.
At this years Design Miami, DeLorenzo will be showing a careful edit of his permanent collection, including one off pieces by Elizabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti, Alexandre Noll and work by the American architect George Nakashima.
