Matthew Hilton
It took just two years from when Matthew Hilton set up his own design studio/workshop in 1984 for his designs to make it to the production line. In 1986, having come to the attention of Sheridan Coakley of SCP fame, Hilton's Bow shelves were launched by SCP at the Milan Furniture Fair.
Nineteen years and several seminal pieces of furniture on, the collaboration continues but Hilton has also found the time to work with many other international manufacturers - including Driade, Disform, Sawaya and Moroni, XO, Montis, Perobell, Lusty's Lloyd Loom and Habitat while this month he launches his new company at 100% Design London called, simply, Matthew Hilton.
