Jean Paul Gaultier, Autumn/Winter '08 (scroll down to read the review)
Jean Paul Gaultier
Jean Paul Gaultier was one of the first fashion designers to break down the barriers between the sexes, and 20 years on Gaultier proves that men and women can now wear the same thing - presenting almost identical outfits for both genders.
The styling was toned down this season, allowing more room to read the individual pieces that were actually pretty classic in look and also very wearable.
The knitwear range was particularly strong, having been tweaked and updated, such as traditional argyle patterns in dark brown. However classics were played around with as the diamonds were applied in black leather, and the Breton t-shirt (a Gaultier signature piece) was produced as a roll neck top in pale grey camel.
