John Galliano
John Galliano took us to the movies. As it was Galliano Films, it was of course a big production with an elaborate set, complete with fountains and plenty of extras learning their lines. The starlets, or should we say model-cum-actresses, came with the odd statuette (the award was for Best Pose). There were clever mixes of pattern, colour and texture and all the obligatory volumes of the season as well as plenty of signature Galliano, including his devoré velvets and the bias- cut gowns. He also showed a softer version of the pant of the season (also seen at YSL and Vuitton) with folds of cloth draped down past the knee.
