Diesel, Spring/Summer '09 (scroll down to read the review)
Diesel
The denim giant showed its second collection for its premium line, which was tinged with credit crunch status quo. That translated as grungy love-worn denims with fading darned embroidery and very good looking painterly splashes and stains. There were lots of pieces to covet here: ecru sailor pants, patchwork minis with selvedge seams showing, zippered crinkle cotton blousons, and biker jackets including one made out of tiny feathers. Top tip on the casual front - bib dungarees are back. One way of being stylishly blue.
