DKNY, Spring/Summer '08 (scroll down to read the review)
DKNY
Fresh is the chord and colour and line of Spring/Summer '08. DKNY played it brightly in a lineup of everyday clothes that had an air of long lean 1970s Lauren Hutton summers. White trousers came with a tailored flare, denims in dark indigo with high waists and both with bell-sleeved silk shirts.
Easy going tea dresses sported colour-blocked panels of coral, grey and navy, while a pretty jumbo leaf print decorated flounced hem prairie dresses caught at the waist with obi style fabric belts.
A colour-dubbed cement (that's urban for you) made up some elegant safari suits while the fad of the season, the micro romper suit or jumpsuit, looked city smart in navy silk. Dynamic - well that's the M.O. of Donna Karan, and it all comes at a decent price too.
