Zac Posen
Zac loves theatre and the spectacle of the show, and this season he sent out those passions in spadefuls. The backdrop, a pile up of gilt chairs, formed an abstract element for a line-up of designs inspired by Commedia dell'arte. Tiny ruffled organza blouses with a cross hatch pattern slipped under hip length sequin waistcoats and flirty skirts. More sequins were worked into Dickie fronted vests in bold crimson and black. His eveningwear focused on the prom silhouette with wide crinoline skirts in ivory swooshing out from neat bustiers in lengths from knee to ground.
