CP Company are the alchemists of fashion, with their tireless investment into research and development, changing the look, handle and feel of fabric and their surfaces.

They make the technical (ie man-made) appear like the natural and vice versa, such as nylon treated with a parchment paper effect and silks that have been perma-starched.

They also experimented with printing techniques. By printing checks directly on top of completed garments that had first been put though a press, parts remained, such as under the collar and pockets, giving an off registered effect. The same process was also used on knitwear.

Leather was either laundered or garment-dyed, giving a subtle movement to the colour, which looked worn.
