Alessandro Dell'Acqua's pumping 1970s soundtrack for the Brioni show got his audience quickly into the groove of his glamour-puss collection. But though there were seductive pieces like drain pipe trousers and glossy fox jackets, the collection mostly featured an approachable roundup of classic items, packaged in Brioni's impeccable fabrics. A leather blouse was as nimble as chiffon, while crocodile skirts and jackets had a well-oiled lustre.
