Marni
The David Hicks-esque pattern found on the carpet at the Marni runway was a visual cue for this graphically-minded collection. Like ornate glass windowpanes, the overlapping octagons showed up on daywear looks like the box cut jackets and straight skirts, but was also sliced into the plush pelts of mink jackets. Marni is, after all, one of fashion's leading fur and leather experts - the team could probably whip up a complex fur technique while on lunch break. In addition to the bottle green and brown two-tone mink coats, there were also spectacular black leather pieces layered over navy chiffon dresses.
