Eley Kishimoto, Spring/Summer '09 (scroll down to read the review)
Eley Kishimoto
There’s no doubt about it; the week’s hosiery highlight happened loud and clear at the Eley Kishimoto show. Swingy frocks and patent shoes were gloriously lifted with the addition of confectionary-coloured patterned tights.

As you’d expect from this charming duo, bold and decorative prints covered the majority of the cloth on show, but thought had also gone into the proportions and cuts with waists subtly pin-tucked or belted and hemlines that little bit longer and more flattering than last summer’s unforgiving mini smock.

Hats also look set to finally get the comeback they deserve, ranging form glamorous sun hats to more 1940s-inspired feminine caps before building up to the finale - a zigzag-patterned crash helmet.
