There is an intimacy and knowing buzz at Antoni & Alison shows that gets you all worked up long before the curtain goes up. Guests filled a lushly decorated garage a few minutes walk from the LFW tents in South Kensington and bonded over the bizarre coconut gift that lay waiting for them on their chairs.
There was the special treat of a performance by crooner James ‘Biddie’ Biddlecombe to set the South Pacific-inspired scene and prepare you for the stage of girls all decked out in a heady mix of bold tropical prints. The individual clothes themselves may have been slightly awkward and oversized, but the overall look was, as always with these two, divine.
