Giles, Spring/Summer ’08
Giles
As the darling of the London fashion scene, we can only imagine the amount of pressure Giles Deacon must be under. Yet the designer continues to deliver and impress – his pink rubber invitations were unlike anything we’ve ever seen. In a delicate palette of dove grey, lilac, peach and pink, the idiosyncratic presentation possessed all the oddities of a mad-hatter’s tea party.

Tea-length dresses were given a modern twist with extraordinary floral appliqué, layers of tulle and evocative silk-screened prints, and packed the same dramatic punch as the hats created by Stephen Jones.
