We’d be lying if we said we were bowled over by the arrival of Vauxhall’s new Insignia. This is a car for the perpetually road-bound, the travelling salesman and long-distance commuter who’s not quite in the market for a slice of top flight German machinery but still has a keen interest in staying ahead of the crowd. Vauxhall/Opel are making much of their new saloon’s technological innovations, mindful that the best way to lure in the punters is to keep the gadgets flowing.
