As a British manufacturer with a perpetually full order book, Morgan could have easily stayed away, but that would have denied us another look at the intriguing LIFECar. This hydrogen-powered concept is already familiar to wallpaper readers, but here it was making a debut appearance on home turf. As Morgan’s Matt Humphries - one of the youngest car designers in the business - explained, the LIFECar is ‘very simple, very minimal. It’s very true to Morgan’s DNA’. Pointing out the single length of laminated ply that wraps around the cockpit to form the seat, floor, instrument panel and dashboard, it’s clear the company’s technical abilities are second to none.
