For its project, IED turned to its multidisciplinary department, I+ED, to extract the true ‘soul’ from the GLK.To achieve this, the design team explored the various aspects of the work, home and public lives of the driver, creating a car with soul that can either ‘protect itself and the driver from chaotic life or open up to a multicultural and unique world’.
