Toyota IQ
First seen in concept form at last year’s Frankfurt Show, Toyota hasn’t lost any time in presenting the production-ready iQ urban car to the world. No prizes for guessing which German manufacturer the Japanese are targeting with this 3+1 seater. Stuffing its seats and luggage space into a sub three-metre bodyshell, the production iQ is remarkably unchanged from the original concept. Unlikely to be a budget option, a la Tata Nano, the iQ is instead pitched at tech-conscious urbanites who want a legislation-busting runaround that’s as slickly packaged as a piece of high-end consumer electronics.
