Alexandre Arrechea, La Habitación de Todos (The Room of All), 2009
Previously of art collective 'Los Carpinteros', Alexandre Arrechea's 'Room for All' is a house divided into 11 stainless steel panels that represent a concrete form of the Dow Jones. Each panel is mounted on ball bearings and every day during the course of the Biennial, the installation is changed by manually expanding or closing the spaces between the panels to match the economic fluctuations of the Dow Jones shown on the internet.
