Trellick Tower, 5 Golborne Road W10 5UT
Commissioned by the Greater London council in 1966, the Trellick Tower is an epitomising example of Brutalist architecture, set in North Kensington. Completed in 1972, the project was designed by renowned mid-century architect Ernő Goldfinger. A monumental structure, the tower was originally built as a social housing development, and with its freestanding service tower and surreal boiler house, it retains much of its original detailing.%A
%AThe Trellick Tower is open on Sunday 20th September from 10.30am until 4.30pm with tours every half hour, pre-booking is required through Open House.
