‘Fashioning the Object’ (until 13 September) is exhibition exploring the links between fashion and product design. Curator Zoë Ryan has focused on the work of three cutting-edge fashion houses: Bless, Boudicca and Sandra Backlund, who is known for her geometric creation and experimental knitwear (pictured here). Their highly conceptual work mixes fine art, industrial design and architecture, an approach that recalls that of midcentury designers such as Enzo Mari or Charles and Ray Eames.
