Founded in 2005 by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, Rodarte has – in its relatively short existence – made a big impression on the fashion scene. The sisters’ exquisitely crafted collections, inspired by anything from Japanese horror films to Gordon Matta-Clark, have won them an army of big-name admirers and collaborators from the worlds of film, art and music. Rodarte: Catherine Opie, Alec Soth is the first publication to examine the unconventional world of the brand. Published by JRP Ringier, the limited-edition volume was created in collaboration with acclaimed photographers Opie and Soth, each of whom, working with the Mulleavys, has developed a new body of work specifically for the book.
