Atelier Swarovski A/W 2010 collection
Atelier Swarovski is no stranger to promising collaborations - Matthew Williamson, Proenza Schouler and Zaha Hadid have all designed for the label - but for Autumn/Winter 2010, the prolific crystal jewellery retailer has invited the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Marios Schwab, Holly Fulton, Hariri & Hariri, Kirt Holmes and Stephen Webster to contribute to their seventh collection, which promises a line unique to previous collections.
'As the collections unfold, the diversity of crystal accessory design is illuminated through the immense creativity of the artists who have incorporated new techniques and innovations. It is an honour to work with this talented group of designers,' says Nadja Swarovski.
Lagerfeld's couture collection will feature Inca-inspired pieces with serpents, sacred circles and refined knots; Hariri & Hariri have designed asymmetrical crystals for their 'Kryptonite' collection; while Marios Schwab's imbues classic pearls in a modern twist.
In addition to Swarovski stores, select stockists include Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, and Henri Bendel.
