Adidas Techfit

Adidas ‘Techfit’ is a range of compression apparel proven, according to Adidas, to enhance sports performance, strength, power and endurance. The technology is similar to that seen on swimmers, like the full-body black suit notably worn by swimmer Ian Thorpe, but is utilized across sporting fields.

According to Adidas, the garments add an average of 5.3% to total body power output, increasing maximum jump height by 4% and accelerating sprinters by 1.1%. The compression effect is also said to improve metabolic efficiency by lowering the oxygen level the body requires to perform by 1.3%, for a longer sustained performance.
