Salone del Mobile 2011 preview: The Wallpaper* Edit

The title of the London school's exhibition, 'RCA Intent', reflects the seriousness of its current ambitions. On show in Ventura Lambrate will be works by 13 designers, including El Ultimo Grito, Okay Studio's Oscar Narud and Fabien Cappello, which make up its impressive Design Products collection, conceived by tutors Tord Boontje and Gareth Williams as a platform for bridging the gap between students, graduates and the market place. Alongside these will be new pieces by MA students and graduates.

The Salone Edit
Once again, the design world is honing in on Milan and Salone mania is about to be unleashed. The fair runs from 14th to 19th April but attempting to see everything in just a few days is likely to induce a meltdown. So, to spare you your sanity, we've compiled our annual edit of the show highlights.
A new extension to the fair this year is the Ventura Lambrate zone, whose industrial history makes it rife with gallery spaces. The area will play host to an exciting collection of exhibitions by the likes of the Royal College of Art.
