The conical vases and pill tubes of young, London-based brand Minimalux will be making a special journey round Milan during the Salone del Mobile, photographed by Peer Lindgreen in areas ranging from the classical centre of the city to the industrial landscape of Zona Tortona. The exceptional imagery that makes up this 'Explore Milan' project will be posted online throughout the week, alongside a presentation of the second Minimalux collection, and new designs for 2011, at the La Rinascente Design Supermarket.

Once again, the design world is honing in on Milan and Salone mania is about to be unleashed. The fair runs from 14th to 19th April but attempting to see everything in just a few days is likely to induce a meltdown. So, to spare you your sanity, we've compiled our annual edit of the show highlights.
A new extension to the fair this year is the Ventura Lambrate zone, whose industrial history makes it rife with gallery spaces. The area will play host to an exciting collection of exhibitions by the likes of the Royal College of Art.
Can't make it to Milan? Fear not. We'll be decamping to the city to bring you news about what's hot and not live from the fair. You'll be able to see all the wonders the design world has to offer for 2010 from the comfort of your chair. Just log on to Wallpaper.com to be kept up to date.
