When the king of cashmere, Lucien PellatFinet, learned that the most coveted corner on Osaka's Midosuji Avenue was up for sale, he swooped in, bringing with him architect Kengo Kuma. For the fourstorey boutique, Kuma drew inspiration from PellatFinet's tripleply handmade knits, covering the walls with a wooden honeycomb weave, creating the perfect backdrop for the designer's kooky, cult woollens.
