When the king of cashmere, Lucien Pellat–Finet, learned that the most coveted corner on Osaka's Midosuji Avenue was up for sale, he swooped in, bringing with him architect Kengo Kuma. For the four–storey boutique, Kuma drew inspiration from Pellat–Finet's triple–ply handmade knits, covering the walls with a wooden honeycomb weave, creating the perfect backdrop for the designer's kooky, cult woollens.
