Stark white walls and textured concrete floors characterise Damir Doma’s flagship store that has just opened in the heart of Paris’ Marais district. This is a concept that takes minimalism to the max. The limited pieces in the collection hang from naked frames and the accessories are poised on antique glass bell jars or placed on aged-steel apothecary cabinets. With an imposing metallic door sealing the entrance to Doma’s domain, it feels more like an industrial exhibition space than a shop - with even the changing room a stripped-bare concrete corner. Austere and atmospheric, it perfectly suits the soft tailoring and moody silhouettes that define Doma’s label.
