Partners Robert Konieczny (born 1969) and Marlena Wolnik (born 1973) established KWK PROMES in 1999, with offices in Katowice, Poland and Dublin, Ireland. The office undertakes all kinds of architectural work. It has experience in residential work - both single-family homes and multi-family houses - industrial, public and religious buildings, and has also taken part in numerous competitions.

Inspiration
For the Polish duo inspiration can be found everywhere. They rarely search for it far away, believing that most of the time the key point that leads to the best solution is often right in front of them. In order to find it, the architect has to learn to look for it with enough sensitivity and sensibility.
Innovation
KWK PROMES develops each of its projects from a single key point, a strong idea that will lead it right through from the concept to the last drawing. All of a building's details and technologies, its structure, form and materials result from that main concept. The architects believe that such a design principle gives them the freedom to break away from habits and create new architectural spaces and concepts.
